Get paid to make videos about us

I'm Marek, the founder of QuizYourGuests. I originally built it for my own wedding two years ago to break the ice between our two groups of guests (the perk of being a software engineer!). It was a big success, so I made it freely available afterwards. It has since somewhat evolved into a bigger app, with a photo wall, a find-your-seat search and a bunch of other ice-breakers.

Because I started this as a hobby project, it's been free (with a very affordable premium option to remove the branding) and offers more features than most similar stand-alone wedding products. I genuinely think it's a good product and I want more people to discover it!

So I've decided to put some money behind getting the word out on social media. I'm not great at videos myself (I can't listen to my own voice without cringing!), so I'm looking for people who make wedding content to do it instead. This page is an open offer: make a video about the quiz and we pay you for it.

Who this is for

• You make TikTok, Instagram or Pinterest content about weddings or wedding planning, in the UK or Germany.
• Any size of audience. A thousand engaged followers who trust you are worth more to me than a hundred thousand who don't.
• Getting married yourself, or having a hen do or engagement party coming up, is a bonus: the quiz gets played at something real.
• UGC creators who make clips for a brand's own channels are welcome too, on the same terms.

What you'd actually do

1. Create content about the product. Realistically this will probably be a bit staged. Not everyone is getting married all the time, after all!
2. I can help with images, screenshots and other assets. If you have your own ways of creating content (AI and so on), I'm happy to hear about them too!
3. Post it on your own account, or on ours. If it goes out under your name, please label it as "paid" or "brand ambassador content", so you stay in line with UK advertising rules.
4. Keep me posted about your clips and how they're doing.

What we pay

• Per video: £75 to £150, depending on the length, the edit and the size of your audience. Agreed before you film, paid by bank transfer within 14 days of posting.
• View bonus: £5 for every 1,000 views above the first 10,000, capped at £250 per video. You send a screenshot of your analytics; we pay against that.
• Regular work: if the first one goes well and you want to keep going, we can agree a monthly fee for a set number of videos instead. I'm very open to discussing options here.
• If you are more entrepreneurial: you get your own sign-up code, and we can talk about a share of what couples pay through it for the first twelve months.

The first video is paid like every other one. We do not do unpaid trials or "exposure".

I'm happy to support you in any way I can: building special landing pages, changing or adding features, creating screenshots, and so on.

How to apply

Email hello@quizyourguests.com with the subject line "Ambassador" and:

• links to two videos you have made, on any topic;
• your wedding, hen do or engagement party date, if you have one coming;
• one idea for a video about a wedding quiz, in a sentence.

No CV, no media kit needed. I read every one and reply within a few days.
